Thinking Ahead to Next School Year

Although it seems crazy to think about the 2017-2018 school year while we haven't even completed the current school year, for some reason our brains are always thinking ahead. In our school district, we are required to keep detailed logs of minutes that each child is seen by the Speech Language Pathologist. With that being said, it is just as important to have documentation as to why a child was NOT seen by the Speech Language Pathologist. Whether minutes are missed due to student absence, field trip, MAP testing, or due to the SLP being unavailable due to one of 7,572 other things that may be going on, it is critical to have accurate documentation.
